The company was formerly a private enterprise(Zhejiang Haiyun Biology CoLtd.)engaging in algae and fish meal business in Dongtou. In 2020, as deployed by the major decision of the Wenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for deepening the reform of municipal state-owned enterprises the company was included by the municipal industrial group as a whole and restructured into a secondary subsidiary of the Municipa Industry and Energy Development Group.
